Residents Of Mainland China Outbound Tourism Safety Research

With the sustainable development of China's economic,people's living standard continues to improve,the desire of outbound tourists also increased,meantime,in 2010,there were more than 5700 million outbound tourists in China. At the same time,security incidents have occurred about the Chinese outbound tourists are not scarce,the situation is not optimistic.The outbound tourism accidents performance for the following several types:discrimination and mental harm,travel fraud,theft, robbery,tourists unsafe behavior,terrorist attacks and other types.Outbound tourism safety accidents also has a certain regularity: the types in the accident,mainly for traffic accidents,terrorist attack,suffered discrimination;in spatial distribution:there are most accidents happended in the east of the Asia-Pacific region,second is Western Europe;the distribution of the types in the accident:theft accidents often occurred in Western Europe,traffic accidents often occurred in East Asia–Pacific region;in the links, most of the security incidents often occurred in the " traffic ", "tour","shopping"parts.The reason of chinese outbound travel safety incidents displays in the following points:unavoidable natural disasters and travel accidents,collision and friction in the cross-cultural association, a long-standing anti-Chinese sentiment in Western society and the Chinese negative stereotypes,complex and subtle factors in international relations, political instability in some areas ,terrorist attacks and other social cultural factors;the oversight of cross-border tourism management,the conflict of different legal system,the lacking of regulation,other own factors of tourists.To this end, the Chinese mainland residents need to strengthen the safety awareness of outbound tourism, improve the safety control system for outbound tourism,establish the outbound tourism safety and rescue system,improve the safety of outbound travel insurance protection system,strict the management of overseas travel accident cases files,build security system of outbound tourism.
