GRATE-Rotary kiln pellet method is a joint unit of produceing pellets, which is the most advanced method of produceing pellets. But the waste heat of grate of the current chain grate isn't recovered in the pelletizing process. The fixture gas by the Preheat section and drain the exhaust section of the GRATE into the electrostatic dust mixture, followed by the main pumping emptying, the heat was a complete waste.This paper integrate the practice temperature, oxygen content requirement of coal and suggested to use gas instead of coal-fired grate furnace waste heat recovery program.First , this paper describes the process flaw of GRATE-Kiln Pellet, And its components are briefly introduced.Then is the calculation of heat balance and grate system temperature field model. Through the grate system, the process of testing and thermal analysis system energy balance of the system We can to distribution of the energy flow and energy level of a scientific evaluation of the use, for the heat using the proposed theoretical basis.Through the establishment of the temperature field model for the utilization of waste heat to provide a theoretical basis for intelligent control.Then is the concrete implementation of waste heat utilization system, including the realization of the program and the intelligent controller design and heat recovery system after the completion of the benefits.Finally, to summary the text and illustrate the practical significance of the waste heat utilization.The material balance and heat balance analysis and the model for grate-kiln system in this paper will have some reference value for Gongchangling Mining Corp and other Mining Corps.
