The coordination polymer is a kind of important organic/inorganic hybrid material which is a type of self-assembly formed by organic/inorganic ligands and metal ions. It contains potential applications in the areas of magnetism, porosity, catalysis, adsorption, molecule identification and chirality because of their structural diversities.In this thesis, we synthesized five MOF with novel sturcutres. Sturcutre and thermal stabilization of the five compound were characterized by sorts of analysis methods, such as element analysis, IR, SCD and TG analysis. The aim of this paper is to study the rule of the self-assembly of MOF synthesized hydrothermally, and the structure and the related performances of the MOF.Firstly, the target product {[Nd(C7H3.5O5N)2·2H2O]·1.25H2O}n with novel structures was synthesized by the reaction of the ligand 4-hydroxypyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid and ions Nd3+ under the conditions of hydrothermal synthesis. The results is as follows: The title complex crystallizes in triclinic with space group P-1. there is only one Nd(Ш) metal in a distored centre,each Nd(Ш) in the complex is seven-coordinated with two nitrogen donors and five oxygen donors from three ligands respectively to adopt a slightly distorted trahedral geometryUnder the hydrothermal synthesis conditions, three new coordination polymer {[Co (pdc)2 (H2O)2]·2H2O} n (2), [Cd2 (pdc)2·2H2O] n (3), {[Zn (pdc)2 (H 2O)2]·2H2O }n (4) were synthesized by the reaction of the ligand 3,5 - pyrazole dicarboxylic acid (3,5-pdca) and transition metal ions Co2+, Cd3+, Zn2+ . Furthermore, coordination number of Co2+ is 6, coordination number of Cd3+ is 7, coordination numberof Zn2+ is 6.Under the hydrothermal synthesis conditions, a new coordination polymer [Zn(BPE)2Cl2]n were synthesized by the reaction of the ligand 1,2-Bis-(4-pyridyl) ethylene, The results is as follows: the coordination polymer obtained one dimentional chain like structure and extend limitlessly.
