Laser beam welding joint may contain various of information which could suggest us its mechanical properties. Research and analysis in its forming mechanism and dynamic factor will benefit to the understanding of the process of laser beam welding on titanium alloy, as well as the optimization of processing parameters and improving the welding efficiency. Nowadays, many researchers in worldwide, by adopting and combining the artificial intelligence and modeling theory, construct the models used to estimate the laser beam welding processing parameters.For conventional modeling method could not regenerate the complicated information in the welding joint, the author build laser beam welding management database and adopt Case-based Reasoning which is based on the experiences in the past, which finally actualize the estimation of the welding joint and optimization of the welding processing parameters. CBR was developed based on the human perception of things, solving the current problems by adopting the experience of the past. Through describing, representing, retrieving, repeating and training, CBR achieve the solutions in the current situation. This support means a lot to the laser welding test.CBR was used to actualize the welding cases'representing, retrieving, repeating and training based on the laser beam welding database. Combining the laser beam welding properties, frame representation method is used to represent the cases and nearest neighbor algorithm is used to retrieving the cases. Hence the cases may be repeated to the current cases after applying certain artificial adjustments from the supervisor. In the end, these cases should be recorded to the database for the further training.This thesis is aimed to actualize the estimation of the welding joint property and optimization of the processing parameters. However, because of the shortage of the experiences of the adjustment cases, this system still has serious defectiveness in the repeating procedure which may need further investigation.
