With the development of the national economic and mechanical industrial, and theadvance of science and technology, the requirements of the steel products' quality isgetting higher and higher in the fields of industrial production and infrastructure, etc. Butbecause of some kinds of reasons,Steel pipe usually get bending, ellipse and other defectsin the process of the fabrication, working and transportation,. Steel tube finishing is animportant step to settle the various defects of pipes, and steel straightening is an importantprocess in the process of finishing.More inclined roller straightening is one of straightening types, which depends on thestaggered arrangement of rolls that can make the workpiece to produce a proper length ofplastic bending area by crisscross bending to achieve the purpose of straightening. It has asmall stress space, so the straightening force is much smaller than two-roller straighteningmachine's; It also has a long contact area between the roll and the workpiece, so that theunit pressure on the face of rolls is smaller than the one of parallel roller straighteningmachine; Besides, it has the advantages of high straightening velocity and higher precisionof straightening. Because of these advantages,more inclined roller straightening has beenused widely, especially applied to pipe straightening. The development of ten-rollerstraightening machine is on the basis of six-roller straightener, according to thestraightening theory, increase the number of straightening pipe roller can extend theplastic zone and improve straightening effect. And as the same time, because the steel pipegets the phases which are desynchronized under the action of each roll, it can also improvestraightening effect. In straightening process, with a low-speed bite into the rolls andthrown at low velocity, it can improve straightness of the pipes, it is also possible toimprove the quality of steel straightening.The finite-element analysis is a product of the development of computer andnumerical technology, is a effective tool which has been used to analysis plasticdeformation. Simulation analysis the ten-roller straightening process by the finite elementanalysis softwareMARC, we can get a deeper research of the pipe's deformation law inthe straightening process, in order to make up for the deficiency of the experimental data, it has a important practical significance to further improve the straightening accuracy ofpipes.In this paper, designing and calculating the related straightening parameters dependson the principle of more inclined roller straightening and the elastic-plastic deformationmechanism of materials; Establishing three dimension finite element model of ten-rollerstraightening based on MARC platform, simulating straightening process and analyzingthe simulation results. We must research and get each parameter such as bending quantity,rolling reduction, straightening speed and roll angle how to make influence on thestraightening quality, this can provides a reliable theoretical guidance for practicalproduction.
