Research On The Intelligent DNC System Based On ZigBee Wireless Network

For the management of CNC machining equipments, the traditional managementmodel can`t meet the requires of modern manufacture and development. Organically,combine with the electronics information technology, computer technology andmanufacturing technology, integrated management and real-time monitoring ofenterprise CNC machining equipments cluster, via distributed numerical control, formthe enterprise manufacturing execution system. manufacturing technology will betransformed from the traditional technology characterized by the machine to themodern information technology, which is the development direction of modernproduction management.This paper begins with an overview of the research status, the problems, and thetrends of communication mode, data collection and monitoring, integratedmanagement system of the DNC system. And on this basis we put forward the conceptof intelligent DNC system. Based on the basic functions and the actual needs ofindustrial field of the DNC system, from the structure, universal serial communication,ZigBee wireless communication and other aspects, we builded an intelligent DNCsystem based on ZigBee wireless network and proposed the general framework ofintelligent DNC system`s software and hardware.Then, according to the demand of the CNC equipments and servercommunications, data acquisition and processing, remote monitoring and management,and other aspects, we designed and researched on the hardware system of embeddedDNC intelligent terminal, including the selection and design of core modules and basicexternal interface, selection, cropping and customizing the embedded operating systemof uClinux based on the hardware system, porting the hardware drivers of ZigBeemodule, design an universal serial with self-match handshake protocol and thecommunication function of embedded operating system.Finally, in the part of the smart DNC integrated management system, based ondata acquisition and processing, monitoring and management server of embeddedDNC intelligent terminals, general Web Server IIS technology, according to the needsof remote monitoring and management, designed an intelligent DNC integratedmanagement system with three layer distributed architecture, using B/S framework andthe user management, DNC communications, NC program database management, processing information management, shop job management, equipment informationmanagement, device status monitoring, integration and expansion management,andother modules.
