For panel furniture, edge banding sealing is a process necessary, and it always becomesproduction bottlenecks. Premise of stable quality, all enterprises focus how to improveproduction efficiency and reduce cost by production management.In this paper, taking single-sided edge banding machine as study object. Throughexperiments and statistical analysis, analyzing productivity and its influencing factors. First,exploring and determining extraordinary influencing factors, and then studying these factorshow to influence production efficiency. At last, combination of output value, volume ofproduction and costing. Analyzing economic efficiency at edge banding station, it is practical.The main research results are as follows:1. The main influencing factors are: minimum panel gap, panel length, feed rate,multi-function unit, adjusting machine and time spent.2. Establishing mathematical model between panel gap and feed rate.3. Establishing mathematical model between panel size and processing time, between panelsize and effective production rate in different feed rate.4. The opening of the multi-function unit can only be processed in the lowest feed rate.5. Obtaining average frequency of adjusting machine and time spent per normal workingday.6. Estimate equilibrium point between output value and labor cost at edge banding station.Analyzing how frequency of adjusting machine and time spent to influence economicefficiency.
