The hot-air edge banding machine is a kind of equipment that uses hot-air heating technology to replace the traditional gluing system.Its working principle is to use high temperature and high pressure air to melt the co-extruded and pre-glued edge on the back of the edge.and then use the pressure roller will be pressed together with the edge and panel to complete the edge.Compared with traditional edge banding machines with EVA,hot-air edge banding machines not only have a simple process,a compact structure,and high performance,but also have a good edge-banding effect.The adhesiveness between the edge and the panel is higher,and the service life of the products is increased.It was discussed the working principle of hot-air edge banding machine,and through the graphite test,water vapor test and high temperature test,analyzes and compares the difference between the hot-air edge banding machine and the traditional edge banding machine from three aspects.Tests have proved that hot-air edge banding machines have absolute advantages,both in terms of the gap between the edge banding and the sheet metal,and in the high temperature resistance of the edge banding-resistant water vapor.Not only in terms of the performance of processed products,but also compared to the traditional edge banding machine,hot-air edge banding machine in the processing efficiency and processing environment,also has absolute advantages.In this paper,a new design of the hot-air nozzle,which is the key component of the hot-air edge banding machine,is carried out.Compared with the hot-air nozzle used by the hot-air edger,the structural design and spatial layout of the new nozzle is more reasonable,the functional module is classified clearly,and the hot-air can be evenly distributed.Under uniform hot-air supply,the co-extruded and pre-glued edge behind the edge banding of the hot-air edge banding machine can be uniformly melted,thereby greatly improving the energy efficiency of the hot-air edge banding machine and the edge banding quality of the hot-air edge banding machine.Aiming at the new type of hot-air nozzles,this topic through the Design-Expert statistical analysis software,using BBD response surface method design test,using BBD response surface method to study the banding edge of the banding edge of hot-air edge banding machine and optimize edge banding process parameters.First,the BBD response surface method was used to establish the quality evaluation value of the banding edge of the hot-air edger,the edge quality XA,the cold and heat cycle performance of the edge banding XB,the edge peel force XC,and the influencing edge of the hot-air edge banding machine.The quadratic polynomial regression model with three factors of edge banding quality(hot-air temperature,hot-air pressure,distance between hot-air nozzle and edge band),using the model response surface map and contour plot analysis to determine the effect of the edge band seal Edge quality factors and their interactions,and validation of the regression model.The optimized process parameters were hot-air temperature of 576°C,hot-air pressure of 9.4 bar,and hot-air showerhead and edgeband distance of 2.8mm.
