| With the accelerated development of industrialization and urbanization, as well as overexploitation and over-consumption of resources, ecological issues including both resource and environment issues have become an increasingly grave threat to humans'survival and development. The results from the present investigation suggest such issues have a close relationship with humans'behaviors. Whether humans can change the attitudes and behaviors to the environment is a key to rebuild a harmonious relationship between human and nature.Based on literature review and a survey among public in Dalian, this dissertation examines the relationship between environmental awareness and environmental behaviors. Using the Statistical Analysis tool "SPSS 12.0", the article analyzes the collected data. There are four parts in the dissertation. First, the study does the descriptive statistic analysis on relationship between environmental awareness and environmental behavior; Second, analyzing investigation outcome and the level of Dalian's environmental awareness and environmental behavior; Third, doing correlation analysis to confirm correlation relation between environmental awareness and environmental behavior and doing regression analysis to research their quantitative relation; At last, coming up with the research conclusion and the effective measures to enhance Dalian's environmental awareness.There are two innovations in the article:(1) The people who take the questionnaire are first evenly allotted to every street in Dalian, which makes the research data more comprehensive and effective. (2) The Statistical Analysis tool "SPSS 12.0" is used to do the quantitative analysis on the relationship between environmental awareness and environmental behaviors.However, deeper researches should be done on relationship between environmental awareness and environmental behaviors of Dalian public. We expect more researchers will further investigate in the issue on the foundation of this dissertation. |
