Polyphosphazene derivatives with carbazole have good photoelectric properties and are widely used as nonlinear optical polymers materials, which have potential application prospect, such as photorefractive materials, electrol- uminescent materials and terahertz materials. Micrcowave irradiation is widely used in polymerization, and the effect is obvious too. Compared with the traditional heating method, irradiation microwave have lots of advantages, such as shorter reaction time, inner heating, higher product yield and lower energy consumptions. This paper first research the application of microwave irradiation to snythesis the polyphosphazene derivatives containing carbazole, which lays the foundation for synthesising these new photovoltaic materials with micrc- owave irradiation.Firstly, the best reaction time of synthesizing the N-hydroxyethyl-carbazole was 10h. 70% of anhydrous alcohol was used to extract the raw products. Poly(dichlorophosphazene) were synthesizd at 250℃for 10h. Then, polyph- osphorus nitriles derivatives were synthesized with the N-hydroxyethyl-carbazole and poly(dichlorophosphazene) for 48h. By discussing the factors in the preparat-ion of the synthesis reaction, high yield polyphosphorus nitriles derivatives were prepared. The polyphosphazene containing carbazole, potassium hydrogen sulfate, nitro aniline and sodium nitrite are used as raw materials. Polyphosphazene with carbazole grafted by nitrobenzene azo was synthesized by one step method when the raw materials were radiated under the 400W microwave raditationand for 6min. The factors were dissussed in the reaction. The structure of product was characterized by infrared spectrum (IR), ultraviolet spectrum (UV-vis), 1H-NMR spectrum and gel chromatography (GPC), et al.The azo chromophore grafting ratio of products was measured and photoel ectric conductivity was tested in the experiment. As the azo chromophore groups accumulated, the photoelectric conductivity increased more largely. When the azo chromophore grafting ratio was 18.8wt%, the photoelectric ratio was 7.89×10-15(S/cm), which was the maximum.
