At present, the domestic mine shaft hoisting system uses widely AC asynchronous motor to drag and the speed is regulated by using series resistance and switching resistance in the rotor circuit. The hoisting system includes the relay and the contact device which constitute the logic control unit (TKD-A system as the representative).A large number of control logics are achieved by a lot of relays and there are a lot of shortcomings in the system, for example the line is complex, the stability of the system is poor, a lot of failure points in the system, the control accuracy is low, the maintenance is large and it is uneconomical. During the operation, high-speed and low-speed conversion is frequent and the performance of the regulating speed is poor, the dead zone of the switching of the running status is large, the speed curve is not smooth, the electrical equipment often bears the impact of current, which will lead to great harm. These will damage control equipment and even cause personal injury. And the driver depends his experience on controlling the speed of the hoist that leads to inaccurate parking location and the degree of automation is not high. In addition, the driver judges the position of the ascending vessel according to the instrument and is unable to see the real-time intuitive situation of every roadway mouth. Personnel fluctuation or cargo handling finishes or not, bifurcation machine is pulled in place or not the driver also has no idea. Therefore, it is very necessary to transform the traditional AC life machine control system in technology.Through the research of the safety protection system of the mine shaft hoisting machine the author use modern technology and method to transform the traction system of the Yunnan tin DaTun tin mine shaft (vice mine). Because of the frequent change of the hoist speed and according to the shortcoming of the adjusting speed of the traditional system and the actual production conditions of DaTun tin mine shaft the system uses AC frequency conversion technology and PLC system instead of the relay logic control system to realize to control the hoist. The whole system uses the fluctuation machine control mode which is "industrial PC operation monitoring and video surveillance and PLC control". The retrofit scheme is that PLC communicates with the industrial PC and transmits the state signals of the site equipments such as the turning speed of the motor, the speed of the ascending vessel and ascension depth, the dynamic and static load of the wire rope, the oil temperature and presser of the braking loop, the temperature of the motor and inverter and so on, and the fault signals such as speeding, over wind, sliding of the wire rope, overload, over voltage and under voltage and so on to the industrial PC. It displays the real-time running status of the equipments in the monitoring interface. It will alarm when the faults happen and in order to inquire the faults it storages various faults in the specified path. PLC accepts and implements the various control command from the industrial PC, at the real time, the industrial PC receives the video signals which are transmitted by the optical fiber and acquiesced by the video capture card and displays the real-time situation in the roadway mouth. The video surveillance interface will switch to the roadway mouth where the ascending vessel arrives automatically. After remaking, the monitoring system realizes to combine the data, text, images, and graphics together, and the using efficiency of the information is also improved.The retrofit design of the system includes the hardware design of the traction system of the mine shaft, the design and development of the site controlling software, the design and development of the monitor interface and video surveillance software. For hardware design, in order to reduce the cost, part retains the original hardware structure and composition. This paper mainly expounds the development and implementation of the site control software and the monitoring surveillance software, and realizes the communication between them.
