| Low grade potash ores containing high slime was difficult to operate continuously in flotation. The technological schemes of direct flotation separation of KCI from potassium ores were widely used because of adaptable ores and low energy consumption. The vast of slimes has a negative effect on flotation efficiency, it can hinder collector adsorbed on ore surface and increase the slurry viscosity, thus reduce the recovery of KCl. Therefore, how to improve the flotation efficiency and removal insoluble from potash ore research is particularly important.In this study, the slimes unfavorable influences on KC1 flotation was researched, through investigation and theoretical analysis. Flotation agents and efficient desliming method were the key of improving KCl productivity. It would get a better adsorb and flotation efficiency by reasonably using the built agents, while provide the reliable theory of mineral composition analysis and desliming agent research. This paper mainly studied flotation agents, mineral analysis and research on the slimes flotation agent:(1) Analysis of Mahai potassium oreMaHai salt lake solid potassium mineral consists mainly of sylvite, carnallite and mixed potassium mineral, ores complex changeable affect on production system stablility; the slimes contained in Mahai salt lake are aluminosilicate minerals and calcium salt, more than 70% of insoluble was feldspar (potassium feldspar, albite, calcium feldspar), clay, silty and so on, composition can be expressed as feldspar 40-45%, clay 20-30%, silty sand 15-20%, calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate 5-10%; most of slimes filled in the crystal particles of salt minerals or existed with micro-film shape for itself alone.(2) Study on the flotation reagents of slime containing potash oreOctanol and octadecylamine were used for KCl flotation. When the octanol concentration was 8×10-4mol/L, the octadecylamine efficiency can be greatly improved. There was a ratio exist between collector and blow, increasing single agent cannot increase the low flotation efficiency. Mixed collector and blow before flotation can make potions achieve maximum effective utilization rate.(3) The influence of slime content on the KCl flotation recoveryResults showed that octadecylamine had a little collecting ability on slimes, the production of potassium contain some insoluble slimes may be the entrainment by flotation; When potash crystals and slimes complete separation, exploratory experiment can dramatically reduce the adverse effects of KCl flotation.(4) Stusy on slime-containing potash ores flotation separate technologyKerosene was used as collector for slime containing potash ores. The experiment results showed that the desliming efficiency was decreased when the slurry viscosity and ionic strength increase. When the dosage of kerosene is 1000 g/tonne of slime, the desliming efficiency reached 50% in saturated KCl-NaCl-MgCl2 solution. Contact angle measurement theoretically explained that KCl and slime could be flotation respectively.(5) Influence of flotation deslimingFlotation desliming materials and technologies were affected by the nature of the pulp, the research result indicated that when the flotation materials for 80-120 mesh size the highest mud removal was gotten, except for pulp pH value of 6-7 when the flotation exploratory experiment and potassium chloride had very good ascending function.Through the research on flotation agents and collector for slimes, the potassium chloride flotation agents was optimized and flotation desliming was carried out. This research enriched sylvite flotation agents species, filled the blank in the field of potassium flotation desliming in China, and provided a desliming agent for high slimes content potash ores. |
