The Application Research Of Surgepre-Protection & ESD System In Oil Pipeline

Oil pipeline occupies an important place in the course of crude oil and product oil transportation,There are two way of oil transportation,Which are loop transportation with floating tank and tight-line pumping transportation.The tight-line pumping transportation have the advantage of energy saving and consumption reduction,easily dispatching management. In a tight-line and circuit system, The pressure would rapidly movement when the fluid speed was changed suddenly, Then the water hammer was produced when lifting the pressure wave passed through the oil pipeline.The water hammer and its damage are major problem of tight-line pumping transportation.When there were power failure or operational errors in oil station, The strong positive and negative pressure wave were produced,which would make the pipe burst by overpressure and stop the gas due to negative pressure producing air resistance.When fluid stability was damaged in the Pipeline system,The water hammer would produce.which characteristics was rapidly changed of the current velocity and pressure.The water hammer wil easily cause the damage of locality pipeline understanding overpressure, liquid column separation in the pipe, cavitation performance of the pump,which would cause severely destructive of pipeline and accessory equipment.Thus the application research of surgepre-protection &ESD system will be great significance for ensuring the safety of oil pipeline.This paper analyzed the course of water hammer producing, distribution law of water hammer wave and its damages, It suggested methods of surgepre-protection &ESD system for oil pipeline,which can improve and perfect the existing methods,and also can supply a theory and reference for the new-builting pipelines.
