SCADA system,namely supervisory control and data acquisition system,which is based on the computer process control and dispatching automation system,have an important position in long distance crude oil pipeline transportation.It can not only provide the operation equipment parameters for the control center of thousands of miles away,but also provide the required datas to the enterprise operation management department.In this paper,we take the key project of Sinopec Group,YiZheng-ChangLing double track crude oil transportation pipeline project as the background.We study the geography trend and the oil transportation technology of HuaiNing station to obtain the control requirements of the main equipments,including the relevant variables acquisition and the control strategy.In order to ensure the security of oil transportation,we apply the mature programming software to realize the parameters collection,main equipments monitoring and interlock protection,parameters adjustment setting.This highly automated system use Wonderware INTOUCH as human-computer interface(HMI)software,it also build SQL database reading and writing by using MSDE2000 management tool,and achieve ACCESS database reading and writing through the addition of ODBC data source.It take Schneider brand programmable logic controller(PLC).In the communication stategy,it adopt the total linear topological mode and standard protocol between PLC and local instruments.It can realize the information sharing and clock synchronization with XuZhou control center,also can be done without anybody.This paper design SCADA system in detail from the hardware,software,communication mode and data base.The hardware system includes PLC,station computer,SIS and so on.The software system includes HMI software,PLC programming software and especially water hammer advance protection stategy.In addition,the local function test of SCADA system is also mentioned in this paper.Compared with the traditional control system in crude oil transportation companies,HuaiNing station SCADA system use independent SIS,perfecting water hammer protection strategy,reasonable equipment interlocking protection measures,detailed system information security protective means and the stable redundant configuration to achieve the datas collection,equipments remote control and interlock protection,the pressure adjustment,which is greatly improved in the terms of security and reliability.
