Noise is ruinous for human life and production, which is more and more harmful to human body and mind. With the rapidly development of society, it has become increasingly intensified. The two kinds of pollution have become a major problem which needs to be solved right now all over the world. This paper is based on noise reduction mechanism, with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as matrix, with steel slag powder (SSP) as the main inorganic filler, with mica and modified waste rubber powder as secondary filler, using other additives to product PVC-based sound insulation composite material by pressure membrane. This material can be cut, which is soft and thin. At the same time, having high mechanical property, good processing property ,good sound insulation property and high filling ratio. This method Change the traditional hand casting method, improving the filling property greatly, reducing the cost greatly, having high sound insulation performance, providing a kind of mentality for solid waste.Firstly, the research object of this paper is PVC composites filled SSP, it analyzes the relationship between filling ratio of SSP, the appearance of size and process parameters, demonstrations the molding processing performance of PVC base sound insulation composite materials with high SSP filling ratio by melt index further. The results show that: when 100phrPVC: 40phrDOP: 20phrCP-52: 8phrCPE: 6phrESO, According to the degree of difficulty of processing, the reasonable filling ratio of SSP is 70%. We can product insulation composite materials of thinner and softer and easier to cut using the higher density of BaSO4 and the PZT as the main filler.Secondly, the paper studies the soft degree and mechanical properties of the PVC base sound insulation composite materials with high filling ratio. With the increase of inorganic solid filler, the fracture strength and elongation of the composite will reduce, when the filling ratio increases, the amplitude of decrease increases. It can improve the mechanical properties of composite by glass fabric or non-woven enhance. In addition, its stiffness and mechanical properties are relevant with the type, size, and other auxiliaries of inorganic solid packing. The results show that when the filling ratio and surface density are the same, the stiffness of composite filled with PZT, BaSO4, and SSP increases successively.Thirdly, the paper studies the Sound insulation performance of PVC base sound insulation composite materials with high filling ratio. with the increase of filling ratio, the damping peak of PVC-based composite materials move to high temperature, when the SSP filling ratio is 70%, the damping peak is 12℃corresponding, it can improve the application scope of composite of wide temperature and high damping characteristics at room temperature.Finally, in order to make the material more wider used in all aspects of life and production, it is necessary to study the flame retardant of materials, the results show that it can increase greatly the effect of flame retardant by adding flame retardant, it can meet the requirement of national retardant materials, but it does not affect the sound insulation performance of composite materials by adding flame retardant.
