Developing The Knitted Trouseres Fabric And Studying On Its Wearing Ability

The history of the development of pants stretches back up to a hundred years with periods of blossoming growth.Traditional pants were mainly made with woven fabric,but as the knitting industry became more sophisticated,woven fabric was replaced by a new kind developed both domestically and abroad.In China,the development and production of knitted pant fabric remains in the exploration and testing phase.Particularly the functionality of knitted fabric developed in China has not been researched in depth.Therefore,in order to accelerate our knitted pant fabric's entrance into the market,it is important to thoroughly design and develop the product,specifically considering the wearing ability of the product.The purpose of this paper is to discuss knitted pant fabric with excellent wearing ability developed by a cooperative project with Quanzhou Haitian Material Technology Corporation.Materials and stitch structures used in knitted pants were observed through a market survey,and then knitted pants fabrics are developed according to the results.First,13 kinds of knitted pant fabrics are designed and developed with four different graining effects: plain effect,dot effect,implicit cross stripe effect and twill effect.Such as the following:(1)Differential polyester,polyurethance fiber,and polyester viscosity blended yarn are used to develop plain effect knitted trouser fabric.Further,two different stitch structures are chosen to form pain effect,one is fleecy stitch,another is derivative interlock stitch with double effects.(2)polyester viscosity blended yarn,polyurethance fiber and polyester filament are used to develop two different stitch structures of dot effect knitted trousers fabric.(3)Because Ponte di Roma is one stitch structure widely used in knitted casual garment,three multicomponent feedstocks are used to weave Ponte di Roma to form implicit cross stripe effect.(4)Polyester spun yarn,polyester viscosity blended yarn,polyester filament and polyurethance fiber are used to develop two knits twill weave,one is single needle jean which has tight structure,another is double needle coarse drill of sienna miller.Secondly,wearing abilities of knitted fabric pants are tested that mechanical properties,appearance retention and comfort properties of the 13 kinds of samples are emphatically analyzed.It can be found that the basic structural parameters of the knitted pant fabrics have a effect on wearing ability.Knitted pant fabric with better compact,firm and surface density of the knitted,better bursting,wrinkle resistance,stiffness,resistance to snagging,thermal properties and so on they will get.The wearing ability of the knitted pant fabric would be improved by using polyurethance fiber or stretch polyester yarn because of excellent elasticity and stretch recovery.Thirdly,the developed knitted pant fabric's wearing abilities would be analyzed by fuzzy mathematics method to confirm which one has the best overall wearing abilities.And it can be discovered that Y3?P4?P1 samples all have good wearing abilities because of thickness,compaction and polyurethance.The fabric without using polyurethance has bad stretch recovery and wrinkle resistance,and thus overall wearing abilities would be affected,such as X1,X3 samples are the lowest ranked location of overall wearing abilities in developed fabrics.Although fleecy stitch's thickness and surface density is low,but the surface of fabric would become fluffy,soft and firm after raising,so,these fabrics have a good command of overall wearing abilities.The Ponte di Roma usually uses in knitted sportswear can also be used in full-dress clothes after feedstock assortment,characteristics and set factor are reasonably selected.The overall wearing abilities of twill effect are poor because resistance to snagging cannot afford national standard affected by ridge design and longer welt around the surface of fabric.Lastly,13 kinds of fabrics' vision,touch and feedstock are interviewed through enterprise experts and teachers invited to use the questionnaire survey,and then get compared to subjective appraisal and objective evaluation.It can be found that plain effect is more popular and dot effect is worse in effect grains.Consumers prefer black or dark navy color and dark heather grey in pattern.Sample with good compact,firm,crisp,wrinkle resistance and elasticity would haven excellent subjective appraisal.In addition,It can also be found that Y3?P4?P1 samples' subjective appraisal and objective evaluation are all ranked in forefront and are all selected by trousers production enterprises,so a successfully developed fabric not only have excellent wearing abilities but also have nice visual appearance and touch.
