Work safety is related to the whole development of the economic society, It is shown that the situation of safety in production is different in different stages of the economic development. Accident is much easier caused in accelerated industrialization time that called"accident-prone period". The acceleration of industrial advance, the improvement of the concentration ratio of the industry and the expansion of the city size will increase the risk of the accident occurrence. At the moment, the overall economic development of Guangdong province is in the critical stage which is moving to the last stage from the middle stage of the industrialization, the number of the death in the accident of the work safety has been on top of the nation, the frequently occurring accident caused a bad effect, meanwhile, seriously harm the regional stability and people's lives and property.An effective work safety supervision system is the radical method of keeping the risk of occurring accident down and ensuring the Steady and rapid development. Guangdong province is in a very important stage of economic transition, work safety is facing new situation and challenge, a new safety supervision system is urgently needed to be set up. This article is set in the economic transition and current situation of the work safety, the object of work safety supervision to build the new mode of safety supervision system and operating mechanism. We mainly do some research of the following three aspects:1. Analysis the relationship between the current work safety and economic development of Guangdong province, starting with the economic development and work safety to clear and definite the development is in the critical stage of the economic transition, work safety facing the various new problems and they are severe. The safety supervision means of the effective support yet still there are lots of weak links and it's not perfect.2. Comparative analysis of foreign typical mode of work safety supervision in developed countries and the status quo. Starting with the Legal safeguard work safety system, institutional structure and working mechanism to analysis their Supervising actuality and the enlightenment to Guangdong province.3. Set up a innovative mode to the Guangdong work safety supervision.On the basis of analyzing the work safety supervision experience of the foreign countries, combine the current statues of the work safety supervision tasks and build up a suitable work safety supervision system ,working mechanism and relevant policies in fast developing economic transition background.4. To impel the new safety supervision system organization, building and consummating the long term mechanism. The changes of the safety supervision system, establishment, the redistribution of supervision function and the development of the supervision team, the construction of the supervision mechanism have to go step by step. Strictly combine with the safety production situation of the state, the recent steps and the features of the economics development. The establishment of the new Safety supervision will provide basic conditions to improve effectiveness of the safety supervision system and facilitate the steady development of the safety in production.
