The threat of international terrorism and domestic violence of the harmonious damage incidents happened occasionally,cause people's individual defensive consciousness enhanced. Especially in guns use strictly controlled country as China. The threat from the knife was much higher than the threat of guns. So the research of stab-resistant body armor was becoming more and more popular.In order to link the study and reality, and also in order to do comparative tests, the author did the contrast study cross the domestic and abroad standards,and took the GA68-2003 stab resistance body armor for police as the main test benchmark,which is suitable for home and abroad present development situation of stab resistance body armor. Developed by combining foreign standard cross cutting tools and the cross equipment,plain knit fabric with STF knit fabric and melt spray nonwoven fabric as the basic compound layers,Through the study of the composite Angles of knitted fabrics,compound proportions,compound orders of the three fabrics, to explore the best composite scheme. At the same time,the author compared different kind of melt spray nonwoven fabrics,in order to choose the most suitable nonwoven fabric of composite layers.Based on the results of other scholars'studies, the author chose the fiber with best comprehensive performance called ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber(UHMWPE), the basic fabrics for the test were made of UHMWPE plain knit fabrics and melting spray nonwoven fabrics from Nonwoven lab. In order to reduce the composite layers and enhance stab-resistant performance,the shearing thickening liquid fabric STF was used in the test, STF has high energy absorption effect to a transient impact load. Weft fabric was steeped in the STF solution with appropriate technology to make the STF knitted fabric.The puncture test was made up of free fall dynamic testing with two-edged sword and free fall puncture with nail.The author employed double swords free fall dynamic testing to find out the best composite Angles and compound proportions,and used Instron 9250 Impact Testing System to test six different complex layers with four knitted fabrics, four STF fabrics and four nonwoven fabrics in different composite orders to find the best composite orders. In addition, the author tested complex layers with melting spray nonwoven fabric in different thickness,breaking strength and elongation. Through the experiment results of instantaneous energy absorption,the instantaneous loading etc, to detennine the optimal nonwoven fabric.Through the analysis of experimental results to explore knitting cross mechanism,determine the best compound way,thus developed optimization knitting fabric cross.
