Safety of textile and apparel affect human health and the property safety directly, with the improving of living level and the developing of science technology, Safety problems of textile and apparel have been a major concern of countries in the world. Hence, it's necessary to analyze and evaluate defects and potential hazard of textile and apparel. Support vector machine is a new method of data mining, it presents a lot of especial advantages for resolving the problems with small samples, nonlinear and high dimensional pattern recognition.In this paper, risk analysis theory is used to analyze potential hazard of textile and apparel, weight is given to risk factors using subjective weighting method and objective weighting method respectively, grading standards of safe risk of textile and apparel is made. Finally a safety risk assessment model of textile and apparel based on support vector machine is built, and empirical analysis is also made.The main work of this study includes four aspects:(1) With overview and analysis of domestic and foreign technical regulations and standards, foreign recalling cases, accident reports, detection results and the previous research results, safety risk of textile and apparel is defined and risk characteristic of textile and apparel is expounded; safety risk is analyzed based on the risk analysis theory, and general process of risk analysis of textile and apparel is obtained.(2) Subjective weighting method and objective weighting method is analyzed and contrasted, weight based on analytic hierarchy process and entropy method is given to risk factors, and weight based on entropy method is used to build safety risk assessment model of textile and apparel.(3) With reference of empirical method in other areas and analysis of inspection data of textile product in different categories, attach note method improved is used in textile and apparel area, single factor risk and comprehensive risk evaluation standard is confirmed.(4) A safety risk assessment model of textile and apparel based on support vector machine is built, and take imported textile and apparel as an example, empirical analysis is also made.The study of this paper is an exploration of safety supervision of import and export textile and apparel. The conclusions can take full advantage of historical detecting data and provide inspection and quarantine system theory basis and technical support.
