Dyeing industry is high-energy, high water-consuming, high-polluting mechanical equipment manufacturing industry. In today's energy-shortage, water-shortage and worsening environmental pollution situation, it is urgent to develop small bath dyeing equipment with the integration of environmental protection and energy saving. But the comprehensive technical level of domestic dyeing & finishing equipments is general, such as high bath ratio, more water, energy consumption, bad automatic control system, the low fabric dyeing rate, low product percent. All these poor defects are disadvantages on the competition with the foreign products.Firstly, this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of the domestic and foreign dyeing &finishing equipments and dyeing technology development, and then puts forward the short bath ratio dyeing technology. The appearance of energy saving small bath dyeing equipment and the small bath dyeing technology, not only makes up for the deficiencies of the occurrence of chromatism and mottle in traditional dyeing, but also improves the active dye's directness, and reduces the dependence to salt, the consumption of salt and the content of additives in wastewater. Meanwhile, small bath dyeing needs much less water resources and the amount of the dyes, getting the achievement of saving energy and reducing the heating time, improving dyeing efficiency and a dyeing rate, promoting the fabric dyeing effect.This paper analyzes in detail the structure and the working principle of the small bath dyeing equipment and expounds the technology process of the small bath dyeing technology, helping for the following discussion of the control method in dyeing process and the principle in fabric dyeing.Secondly, this paper analyzes the dyeing liquid circulation, proposes the IN-OUT and OUT- IN dyeing cycle way in the dyeing process and presents the concepts of liquid circulation flow rate and the exchange frequency with yarn. Through the analysis of the circulation system in dyeing equipment, main pump cycle device of the three-level impeller pump, which is based on small bath ratio, is designed and its dynamic principle and its realization are analyzed in detail.After the analysis of the new technology of dyeing clean production, this paper, on the basis of the three-level impeller pump, has designed the short bath ratio dyeing technology, put forward the principle of pulse flow dyeing, which can change the traditional constant velocity dyeing into pulse flow dyeing, and given out pulse flow dyeing characteristic curve in different process section. The smooth rise or fall of the pulse flow greatly reduces the long-time impact of the high pressure water flow to the yarn, which will cause yarn wool or even yarn breaking;it also reduces the problems of color flowers or the generation caused by the insufficient exchange contact between the dyeing and fabric fiber. By using the contact between the fluctuating velocity and the spindle spinning, dye liquor will get pulse cycle power, and the dyed yarn water bath ratio will also be significantly reduced. The problems, such as the high bath ratio, high energy consumption and high discharge capacity ones, which exist in the traditional dyeing machine, have been successfully solved.Finally, based on the above dyeing technology, this paper analyzes the data got on the spot, the advantages of the new short bath ratio dyeing technology and the factors which influences its leveling property.
