In traditional polyester / cotton fabrics dyeing process, pretreatment process is needed in alkaline condition before of dyeing polyester in the acidic conditions, and then reductive cleaning cotton is dyed under alkaline conditions. This method of dyeing process has a high demand of the p H value of dye bath, and polyester fiber under high temperature and acidic conditions prone to oligomers and cotton fiber will hydrolysis, strength decline phenomenon; and finished dyeing polyester, but also need the reductive cleaning, which consumes a large amount of water,electricity and other energy and time. Polyester under alkaline conditions dyeing can overcome some disadvantages of the shortcomings in the acid bath, can greatly improve the dyeing performance and appearance quality, and can be polyester / cotton fabric pretreatment and disperse dyes dyeing polyester fabrics in one bath, while omitting the step of reduction cleaning step, dyed cotton directly, so as to improve the production efficiency, save energy. This article has carried on the research from the polyester / cotton pretreatment dyeing bath additives, alkaline dyeing disperse dyes, soaping and other aspects.First, experimental study of polyester cotton fabric pretreatment and polyester dyeing one bath additives R, and SAS-60(secondary alkyl sodium sulfonate), AEO-9(fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether), leveling agent AD were selected as the main ingredient. By testing the wool effect, whiteness and weight loss rate of the retreated cotton fabric, the optimum proportion of one bath agent R was obtained. The formula is that, SAS-60 amount 0.5%(owf), AEO-9amount 0.6%(owf), levelling agent AD amount of 0.8%(owf), defoamer dosage 0.04%(owf).The additive has good scouring effect, can effectively remove cotton fabric of wax, pectin and other impurities, improve oxygen bleaching effect, and has excellent dispersion effect for disperse dyes on dyeing polyester.Secondly, the screening and dyeing process of disperse dyes under the condition of basic dyeing was studied. Through the research, the appropriate dye was filtered out by comparing the color stability, color depth K/S value. The study found that, most disperse dyes has certain alkali resistance and hydrogen peroxide resistance. The optimized prescription of polyester / cotton knitted fabric dyeing, under alkaline conditions, one bath process and conditions. Process optimization: pretreatment and dispers dyeing in one bath of polyester/cotton fabricsâ†'cotton dyeing â†'one bath soap washing.The third, the suitable soap is selected, and the soap washing process is optimized.Among the soaps, the best one is B, and the concentration of 1.5g/L, the time of 20 min, and the temperature of soap is 85 centigrade. Compared with the traditional process, it is found that the effect of the soap washing is basically the same as that of the traditional method, but it can reach more than 4grade, but it reduces the washing times, reduces the water consumption, and shortens the process time.Finally, the technology of pretreatment and dispers dyeing in one bath of Polyester/Cotton fabrics was applied to the factory, make sample, sample amplification. The tow different process were compared and found that the products quality and effect of the two kinds of dyeing process is similar, but new technology staining time save about 3 hours, reduce energy and cloth per ton cost savings of about 450 yuan.
