Demand for modern manufacturing technology toward highly accurate, highly efficiency, automation and miniaturization. NC machine tool performance continues to be improved. As an advanced structure positioning technic, adhesive technic has been widely used in column and lathe bed assembly. According to previous research adhesive joints in machine tools will affect their dynamic characteristics largely, but the effecting law is not clear. Based on the nation major project of "High grade NC machine tool and basic manufacture equipment", different factors effect on adhesive joints dynamic characteristics are studied by modal experiment. The adhesive joints dynamic characteristics forecasting method is established based on areas, and adhesive technic factors selection principle is summarized.1. Adhesive joints equivalent single-degree-of-freedom model is established based on traditional single degree of freedom vibration system equivalent processing, to improve test precision. Identify equivalent dynamic stiffness and damping by peak resonance method and half power bandwidth method.2. Based on single factor and orthogonal test, the real and effective essential data is identified, and the effecting laws about adhesive technic factors and joints factors are summed up. The significant of factors is indicated.3. Based on calculating method of single-factor partial least-squares regression (PLS1), the dynamic stiffness and damping mathematic model is established within the range tested, and the adhesive joints dynamic characteristics forecasting method is established based on areas.4. An adhesive technic factors selection principle is summarized by experimental analysis method. Based on the analysis of KVC1050 half structure harmonic response by Ansys, the adhesive technic factors selection principle proved to be practicable.
