Consider The Combination Of Surface Characteristics Of Machine Tool Design Knowledge Base System Research And Design

The knowledge base system of CNC machine tools design aimed to establish a complete knowledge base to help designers accomplish the design of machine tools better and faster. Though there is a great demand for CNC machine tools in our country, the design core technologies are relatively backward in the world. It is of great practical significance to carry out related research in this field and establish accurate and complete knowledge base.The thesis proposed the overall program of knowledge base system in machine tool design using the idea of software engineering, analyzed the system demands, designed the system structure, and studied the system realization key technologies which include knowledge acquisition and representation techniques, knowledge reasoning technique, and database technology. The knowledge acquisition model was proposed by generalizing the characteristics of CNC machine tool design knowledge considering joint surface characteristics. The knowledge representation mechanism combining the production rule and the object-oriented methods was put forward by analyzing the commonly used methods of knowledge representation and combining with the knowledge acquisition model. The knowledge reasoning mechanism was realized by adapting case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning techniques. The reasoning structure and the overall work flow of the system were studied and the system applications of the two techniques were researched. The functions of the knowledge management, such as knowledge query, maintenance and inspection, were realized by adapting database technology based on the knowledge classification model of the machine tools design knowledge considering joint surface characteristics. The storage and sharing of a large number of image files were realized by using the file transfer protocol. Therefore, the system integrity and the operating efficiency were ensured.Based on the above findings, the system software process and system database were designed, the knowledge base system of machine tools design was developed, and finally, the system application examples were presented.
