Synthesis Of Methyl Vinyl MQ Resin And Reinforcing For LED Packaging

MQ resin is unique polysiloxane resin, It is made up of single-functional siloane chain and tetrafunctional siloxane chain. The properties of MQ resin is among inorganic polymers and organic polymers.It posses temperature resistance,hydrophobic,resistance to chemicals,excellent electrical insulation,mechanical,excellent heat resistance,weather resistance,flexibility,film formation and adhesion.MQ resin had great application value in the industry,mainly for additional liquid silicone rubber reinforcing filler,silicone pressure sensitive adhesive filler and tackifer,As the base material,it was made of electrical insulating paints,laminated materials,molding compounds,moisture-proof agents and mold release agents of various products that apply all areas.The cheap and easy to get of sodium is raw material.Methyl Vinyl MQ resin have been synthesized, the synthetic procedures are as follows:1) sodium aqueous solution hydrolysis under acidic condition,then add in MMVI,MM and cohydrolysis,thus synthesize MQ extraction solution in return conditions.2) MQ extraction solution and toluene dehydration condensation in return conditions.3)MQ resin solution washed to neutrality,then dried filter.4)Get MQ resin after vacuum distillation. Their structures were confirmed by IR, UV and 1HNMR. It research all the factors of MQ resin in order to reinforce very well.Its optimum conditions: the temperature of cohydrolysis was 40-50℃, the time of cohydrolysis was 30-40min, the time of reflux time was 3-4h,the time of dehydration polycondensation was 3-4h, the temperature of dehydration polycondensation was 95-100℃, the dosage of catalyst was 2g KOH with concentration of 50% Solution. It test TG and heat resistance:with n(R)/n(Si) increases,TG also increased;Methyl vinyl MQ resin loss at 250℃only 5%,it showed that MQ resin had excellent heat resistance.MQ resin apply in LED Packaging Reinforcing and text performance,and the preferable process was::vinyl content of 1%-4% of the MQ resin,the amount of MQ resin was 20%-25% of vinyl silicone oil,M/Q was 0.8.The 5000mPa.s viscosity of vinyl silicone oil is better than the 2000mPa.s viscosity of vinyl silicone oil.
