The open-pit mining engineering composes of the ore excavation and movement engineering. For the large open pit mine with mining realm of several square kilometers, due to the large quantity of excavation and movement ore, any changes of the temporal and spatial relations within the realm of exploitation will result in large swings of ore excavation transport power.The rational development of temporal and spatial relationship of exploitation is decided by the stripping proposal. Among the costs of open-pit mining process, the cost of change with the exploitation of spatial location is the cost of ore transportation. Therefore, an important element of the stripping proposal optimization is the pursuit of the minimization of the total transportation cost at the premise of satisfying the stripping relationship constraints.It is a variety of optimization theories and mathematical models that brought about in the optimization of the stripping proposal in the past. Although every optimization model has a rigorous mathematical proof, the optimization and calculated ore volume and spatial location data are often general and rough. Either the step is treating as a unit or the artificial meshing is for the valuation of ore volume, the accuracy of optimization results will inevitably be affected.In the view of this, the paper studies a method that substitutes the stripping ore volume and its spatial location for the block model, which discretizes mining process into the module and which provides accurate data to stripping optimization model with3DMine software. At the same time, due to the increase of the modular data, the number of variables involved in stripping and transport power and calculation is up to2268so that it is difficult to find errors and verify the correctness of the calculation. The paper also combines borehole database of the3DMnie software and the grade batch valuation principle, studies the way that evaluates optimization and calculation result of ore transport power with the deposit visualization model to achieve visualization test of optimization results. On the basis, it completes optimization and calculation of the open pit temporal and spatial relations and minimum transport power. The study content includes:For modeling of an open pit digital deposit, the design of the mining realm and waste dump is completed. The total amount of ore stripping and the required area of dump are defined. The linear programming model is established by objective function of minimum transport power. Flow direction and flow rate of rock volume at rock stripping point are defined for the initial calculation of transport power optimization. With the dynamic programming method, as the goal of searching for the minimum cost to strip and dump in the every period, the dynamic programming model of the open pit stripping and transportation is established. The result shows that the deposit model method and stripping optimization digital model in the paper have the ability to solve optimization transportation function of large scale open pit and can provide a reference on optimization production and reduce transportation costs for open pit mines.In the paper, with the application of data structure knowledge and block diagrams, two algorithm steps of optimization model are described. A computer program with multi-objective optimization package LINGO9.0for solving multi-variable and multiple algorithms is programmed to solve large scale open pit deposit model calculation and Programming problems.
