Three-dimensional geological modeling of mine is one of the key technologies of digitalmine construction.It is the core and and the most significant first step of realizing digital mine,which is directly affected by its development.With Baorixile open pit as the case, this thesisconducts an analysis on the three-dimensional geological modeling of open pit, its constructingsystem through applying VB.NET based on the platform of AutoCAD was devloped.In this thesis, the geologic aspects of Baorixile open-pit are analyzed and summarized; theirdrill data, profile data, contouring data and measurement acceptance data are collected andclassified.According to the type of geological data, geological database is divided into severalparts, namely drilling database, graphic database and engineering database. Meanwhile, mininggeological database is constructed in line with the procedure of “defining data sheet structure--building null database-importing data”, and data extraction, storage as well as display functionsof geological database are introduced. Three-dimensional geological surface models of open pitby applying Delaunay triangulation (CD-TIN) with constraint conditions are constructed,three-dimensional solid geological models of open pit by using the consolidation method arebuilt, the modeling way for the three-dimensional solid geological model under the complexgeological conditions is described, the concept of a unified three-dimensional geological modelis proposed,and three-dimensional uniform geological model of Baorixile open pit is constructed,and moreover, the dynamic update methods for the three-dimensional geological model havebeen studied.On the platform of AutoCAD, a new method of constructing block models wasproposed, that is, block models were constructed through the method of grid point assigned fromtriangulation;The constructed three-dimensional geological solid models and block models wereapplied to the calculation of mining-stripping engineering qualities and the calculated results hadbeen analyzed and assessed which showed that this method had greatly enhanced the speed andaccuracy of the calculation of engineering qualities.The research findings of this thesis has been applied in Baorixile open pit, which achievedautomatic calculation of the acceptance of Baorixile open-pit, and provide accurate model baseand abundant data support to the realization of digital mine strategy of Baorixile open-pit.
