PTT/PET side by side bi-component fibers are composite by PTT and PET polymers. Because of the two types of Polymer PTT and PET have different degrees of shrinkage after the heat treatment and mechanical effects, the bi-component fibers have three-dimensional helical crimps along the fiber axial direction. This sort of spiral coil is generated by the difference of two components, This curl is permanent. thus the crimp has higher elasticity and bulking property than other crimps of fiber by The results of comparison.In order to empolder and apply the value of PTT/PET bicomponet fiber, broaden the kinds of textile materials and achieve higher elasticity and bulking property fabrics. In this paper, by in-depth studying on the properties of the PTT/PET bicomponet fiber,Through testing the properties of the fabrics made by ourselves and the cooperative factor, analyzed the five knitted sweaters by PTT_PET/cotton, PTT_PET/ viscose, PTT/cotton, PTT/viscose, PTT/Wool/terylen. As the result of PTT/PET bicomponet fiber fabric elasticity and bulking properties, this knitted sweaters obtained the good elastic recovery, soft, comfortable, drapability.In the develop process of PTT/PET yarn fabrics, firstly, the yarns and fibers property comparison have been made, then knitted, and the dyeing are studied. Though the orthogonal experiment, best temperature, time and Dye amount in dyeing Procedure was made out, which is great helpful for factory's technician to optimize these factors in Practical application. By comparing with the studying on the properties of PTT/PET bi-component fabric and PTT fabric, find the advantage of PTT/PET bi-component fiber, so as to offer help for new product development and production.Last, test the shape retention of the fabrics, warm and comfortable, and some fabric style tests. Used the Method of fuzzy mathematics to describe the PTT/PET fiber sweater fabric from the integrated perspective, thus illuminate comprehensive performance of the fabric and applicability. To finally be able to settle the foundation by taking advantage of this new type of elastic fibers for the development of new products.Find the materials that have high wear ability with low Price at the same time, so as to offer help for development and production.
