Study On Application And Related Wearablity Of PTT Fiber Knitted Sweaters

PTT is short term for Polytrimethylene Terephthalate Polymer,it is the new member of polyester family.PTT has gained attention from scholars in Material and Textile science since it was formed by its perfect performance. PTT did not succeed in commercial production until 1990s,because of the high price of PDO which is one of the raw materials of PTT.PTT is a kind of material merging advantages of PA,PET,Spandex, but is more elastic than PA,having better dyeing ability than PET and is the best in elastic recovery among all synthetic fibers.PTT possesses the advantages of many synthetic fibres and these advantages make its application widely.Currently,the applications of PTT include carpet, garment and engineering plastic.PTT has widely used in knitted underwear,sportswear and woven fabrics by use of its excellent wearability,but the advantages of application in knitting sweaters are ignored.China is the largest knitted sweater producer in the world,but these products are usually subjected to middle or low level since the poor quality.It is necessary to improve the quality and develop competition of'made in china' in the market.The application of PTT in knitted sweater is not only a revolution of raw materials,but also can increase the wearability furthermore.PTT fiber has perfect elastic recovery and softness,so its filament and staple are suitable for knitted sweater,and the products have many outstanding performance,for example,good elastic recovery,soft, comfortable,bright color and fall.The filament can knit Plating stitch with other fibers by use of plating yarn feeder,both plating yarn and ground yarn characteristic are appeared on the fabrics.PTT fiber blended with other fibers according to blending ratio can spin blended yarn,which is becoming the important textile material in the future.The PTT blended yarn possesses well elastic recovery of PTT and some performance of other fibers.The application of CM800 filament and PTT blended yarn in knitted sweater are studied in this paper.In the develop process of CM800 filament,firstly,yarn property comparison was made between CM800 and core spun spandex,then knitted plating stitch in the machine.During this stage,some problems and difficulties are founded.After experiments and analysis,provide corresponding resolutions to those and for other maker's reference.At last, the fabrics property was studied after finishing,the conclusion is that CM800 has obvious advantages and can replace core spun spandex in middle,low elastic garment.In the develop process of PTT staple,firstly,materials property was studied,then knitted,and the dyeing ability are studied.Best method on control temperature,time and speed of calefactive in dyeing procedure was made out through experiment.Meanwhile dyestuff's absorbed lines in procedure was drawn to illustrate dyeing behavior of PTT in detailed, which is great helpful for factory's technician to optimize these factors in practical application.Do property comparison among fabrics with different material,blending ratio and stitch,to fide that factors influence on performance.At last,the fabrics were judged by fuzzy-integrative judgment and material price.Fide the materials that have high wearability with low price at the same time,so as to offer help for development and production.
