Analysis Of The Attraction Of Urban Human Settlement

The attraction of human settlement is an important theoretical issue in the Study of urban human settlement.This paper has first proposed the concepts of and gravity field of human settlement, then built the community attraction indicator system of human settlement and using the gravitational potential energy model to calculate the gravity field strength of human settlement of 184 communities in Dalian, used the Vertical Mapper in MapInfo software to attain the contour and the spatial distribution map of gravity field strength of urban human settlement in Dalian.The results show that: (1) using the gravity field theory to study the attraction of community human settlement is an effective method; (2)the community human settlement is better to meets the shopping, travelling, studying needs of residents, the public transport facilities is relative improve in Dalian; (3) the gravity field strength of human settlement form three attractive center : Zhongshan Square, Jinhui shopping malls of Xi'an Road and Xinghai Square, it gradually decreased from center and the sea boundary to other fields, which reflects the process of suburbanization; (4) they are the beautiful natural environment around the community ,the advantages of the downtown residential area, suburbanization process, housing prices, people's needs that are the may reasons for spatial differentiation of gravitational field strength of human settlement.Through research attain the following conclusions: (1) This article using the result of the living environment meeting the needs of residents living activities builds attractive living environment index system and application gravitational potential energy model, calculates Dalian 184 Community Living Environment gravitational field strength, the results and status of community development in Dalian coincident, indicats that using the gravitational field theory in the living environment of the gravitational field is an effective method.(2) Through the survey concludes that the top five targets for the commercial facilities are educational facilities, neighborhood environment, convenient transportation and traffic safety.This result says that the shopping, travelling, teaching environment is better in Dalian.(3) Dalian Municipal Environmental and Urban spatial variation of the gravitational field strength significantly, the gravitational field strength decreases from the Zhongshan Square, Jinhui shopping malls on the Xi'an Road and Xinghai Square, and gradually reduces inward along the coast, the Northeast Rural communities than urban communities.(4) Community around the beautiful natural environment, living downtown location advantages, suburbanization, housing prices, people's demand for the formation of the living environment are the main reasons of the spatial variation of the gravitational field mechanism.Urban living environment of the gravitational field, reflecting the demand for human settlements activities and the relationship between living environment and its spatial variation of the law of attraction.But the gravitational field of community living environment is the main object of constant development and change, the spatial distribution of the evolution of time and space to be further studied.
