Buried corrugated steel bridge structure is getting more and more popular in foreign countries because of its ability of deform, economical efficiency, shorter construction periods and conservation of environment. More and more corrugated steel plate bridges appear in the practical engineering in our country. However, the design and construction of the buried corrugated steel bridge structures refer mainly to the foreign standard and codes. Some theory and experiment research of this structure have been carried out in our country, which are mainly about the structural static performance. It is necessary to have a further study to this structure, especially in dynamic performance and stability.Firstly, the data of dynamic is obtained by the experimental of corrugated steel culverts with open cross-section. Some structural vibration characteristics are analyzed according to the finite element analysis model. The influence of different construction stages and structure factors to the structural vibration characteristics are analyzed. It can be seen that the shape of the corrugated plate has more influence of the structure and the natural frequency decreased with the backfill procedure.Secondly, the impact coefficient is obtained from the dynamic experiments of a real corrugated steel bridge. Finite element analysis model is established to analyze the factors which influence the dynamic load impact coefficient of this kind of structure. Some reasonable advices are given according to the comparison of different design codes. Finally, the soil-steel structure model considering soil-structure interaction is established. The effects of backfill compaction, dumping soil and large mechanical operation above the arch during construction are simulated. The results are compared with equivalent load model to give advices about modeling for such structure. The influence of different structure factors to the stability of this type of structure is analyzed. It can be seen that more attention must be taken to the structural stability in construction stages.
