Among all these clean-coal technologies, IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) as an advanced power system with a rather bright future has taken a remarkable step forward on the whole. However it is still lack of competitiveness due to the relatively higher cost and investment ratio caused by the premature technology at present compared to the coal-fueled power plant that is well developed and still on its improving way. In addition, the prerequisite of the most current IGCC simulation is under the designed condition. More often than not, it is in the state of varying condition for the reason of the keeping change of the local atmosphere, the fluctuation of load, and the deviation from its normal state on account of its own operating nature. For that, it is of considerable current interest to study the dynamic performance of the unit in response to the regular external disturbance. This paper took a specific IGCC system for instance proposed by Huaneng Green Coal Project, compiled simulation procedure with the language of Fortran on the platform of IMMS, and erected the models of the main equipments. The reliability and practical meaning could be evidenced by the compliance of the experiment of the results with the reported references. Therefore, it can provide several reasonable advices and theoretical basis to the unit operation and control.
