In a power system, system frequency is the most important quality index.The frequency should be matched and maintained to schedule value.Once system frequency departuredit would be occurred that the unstable (even breakdown) of power system as well as facilities of the system or consumers ruinning, also it wouldn't be economy for power producing and consuming.So, to a power system it is very important to maintain the frequency inrating.As we know primary frequency regulation(PFR) is very good for system frequency maintaining.Then PFR strategy optimizing became a meaning task.This article analyzed the necessity of the active power and primary frequency adjustment control, taken examples of the The 2X220MW units in Yungang thereto electric power, expatiated the typical active power and primary frequency adjustment control configuration and working principles, and deeply analyzed the function of the devices and logic drawings.The combination mode of the primary frequency regulation (PFR) loops between the CCS and DEH side, how to adopt the best PFR function selecting of process variable as well as PFR effect evaluating were discussed in details.
