Since 2008,the domestic wind power plant construction reached the white-hot degree. However, our country is faced with multiple fault difficulties with the rapid development of wind power plant. According to the statistics in 2008 the malfunction loss of several domestic wind farms has reached nearly 1.7 billion Yuan, plus the maintenance input, this will double the loss. The healthy development of our county'wind power industry will be threatenedIn order to reduce the losses from the wind turbine fault, the cooperative enterprises in wind farm brought in foreign advanced fault diagnosis system, but in the project implementation process appeared a series of problems. This paper aiming at these problems, put forward the Wind Fault Diagnosis Support System platform (Wind farm Support System Fault Diagnose WFDSS), established a general information model, service model for the introduction of the Fault diagnosis System, solved the problems in engineering implementation. This specific work displayed below:Common faults of wind farm were analyzed in the paper. We also discussed the common diagnostic methods of wind power fault diagnosis, analyzed vibration fault system of Denmark RISO Company and oil fault system of American HACH Company.From the information sharing of fault diagnosis system support platform, we planned the whole wind power network layout; used VLAN technology to divide the wind power equipment logically; designed the routing communication protocol; also we made redundancy design of network architecture and did some verification experiments.The function module of WFDSS platform was analyzed, and we made the integration of the overall platform. This will provide a platform for different companies, different diagnosis system to realize seamless integration.We also designed vibration fault diagnosis system, oil fault diagnosis system, and regular diagnosis system model according to 61400-25 international wind farm standard, including logic node information model and information exchange model.At last we specifically designed a scheme to use a network address translation (NAT) technology which will make service mapping to the specific port of outside network. The remote client will access the port to make corresponding with wind farm. Another scheme used VPN technology to establish a SSL VPN tunnel. The remote client logged on SSL proxy server to communicate with the wind farm.The work of this paper has some positive meaning to improve our country's wind farm fault diagnosis system to an open, sharing and safe development.
