In daily operations, people often experience adverse consequences which caused by inappropriate human-computer interface design. Driving related to the safety of human life, the rational design of Auto dashboard interface is especially important. This article mainly discusses the importance of the user's feelings the human-computer interface design, and how to use the Kansei Engineering to quantify the emotional intention of consumers, and then design a more rational auto dashboard interface by the analysis of quantitative results.This study describes several design methods of the Kansei Engineering. And there is a detailed introduction of three methods which has applied in this research, there are morphological analysis, semantic differential scale and fuzzy math. The application of the latter, the study combined three methods, and full use of the characteristics of Kansei Engineering done on the auto dashboard interface design and analysis.This study screened 10 representative samples for existing layout settings, colors and fonts, etc of auto dashboard in the market and evaluates the design of those samples through Kansei Engineering. It meant to discover the design factors which affect the emotional intention of consumers. The evaluation is divided into those stages:, Extract design elements, screening emotional intention words, market survey, get quantitative results by analysis of data through fuzzy theory. Meanwhile, the research results was applied to a company in their design of electric vehicles dashboard, it has been recognized by the company and its consumers.
