Research On The Design Of Automobile Dashboard Based On Kansei Engineering

The dashboard of the car interior,as the most in contact with the driver in the car interior,directly affects the driver’s driving experience,and largely affects the consumer’s intuitive impression of the car’s interior styling.With the development of new energy technology and autonomous driving technology,the design of the interior instrument panel can break through the original layout restrictions,and the degree of freedom of design is higher.At the same time,under the premise of improving the driving experience of consumers and making the design of the interior instrument panel match the new technological development trend,how to meet the perceptual needs of consumers has become the focus of many designers.As a product research method,Kansei Engineering mainly focuses on the relationship between people and objects,and translates consumers’ perceptual knowledge into design plans or specific design parameters.Therefore,introducing the research method of Kansei Engineering into the styling design of automotive interior instrument panels can better help designers deal with the current design challenges.This paper takes the automobile interior instrument panel as the research object.After analyzing the current situation of instrument panel design and typical products,it uses the method of interview to determine the needs of the target group.Secondly,using the analysis method of Kansei engineering design,screen out the perceptual vocabulary,decompose the design components of the interior instrument panel,and classify the modeling features in each category as the basic design elements.Then,through user research,the subjects were asked to score the product samples according to the perceptual vocabulary,and the relationship between the perceptual vocabulary and the specific shape was analyzed through the scoring data,and the mapping relationship between the perceptual intention and the modeling features was obtained,and this This mapping relationship is applied to the design practice,and the final design results are evaluated by means of a questionnaire,thus verifying the feasibility of the research method in this paper.
