With the social and economic development, rail transit is playing an increasingly important role in urban development and the daily life of people. Economic and social activities of all the city must have a modern urban transport system to support and protect.Major cities in China are focused on development of urban rail transit system.With the increasing subway lines, land for urban rail transit depot is also a corresponding increase in the total. From Beijing railway trend can clearly be seen that the development trend of rail depots. So far, Beijing has opened a total of 14 subway lines. There are eight lines under construction.2015, Beijing will basically form a "three-ring, four horizontal and five vertical and seven radiation" total length 561 kilometers of rail transit network. After 2015, Beijing railway lines will reach 28 or more, the capital of rail transportation will truly become the backbone of urban public transport system.Currently, Beijing is using the 15 rail depot. All depots adopt the traditional design. There are 28 lines in long-term planning, a total of more than 40 depots, and then the total area of depot to reach 1,000 hectares or more. Reasonable development and use of depot, not only responded to the call of building the saving-type society, but also positively impacted on the whole city scene building and expansion of services functionHowever, for various reasons, we need to design the fire performance of the depot of cover development, in order to reach the fire safety requirements.In this paper, we will design the fire performance of the Beijing new building subway depot. Fire performance of the analysis includes simulation of smoke movement and evacuation.Paper to the Ping Xifu depot of cover development as an example, we analyze the spread of smoke and virtual reality simulation of evacuation. We apply FDS simulation software to simulate flue gas.Combined with the virtual reality technology, and we apply building EXODUS software to analyze evacuation. Finally, we summarize.
