In our country, metal rubber products have been attentioned more and more and applied in many fields, such as in the aerospace, reducing the vibratory noise for large industrial equipment. However, it's rarely applicated in the reciprocating compressor, while the reciprocating compressor had been widely applicated in our national economy and national defense construction, particularly when it has become an essential key equipment in the petrochemical, power, machinery manufacturing and other industrial areas, the heart of the process equipment for many industrial sectors.In this paper, the general shape of metal rubber damper technology was described firstly, and then the specific preparation methods and routes for the metal rubber isolator components was analysised, at the same time, condering the metal rubber damper characteristics of the internal structure of elastic elements, the theoretical analysis of static and dynamic characteristics for the metal rubber damper was done. Then, the vibration test For ZW-3 / 7 type of reciprocating compressor was done, form which we can obtain the sources of compressor vibration and how the vibration influence on the compressor performance, test the dynamic parameters, and offer the designed and installed parameters for metal rubber damper. Finally, basing on the analysis of metal rubber damper mechanism of isolation vabration, the loaded mathematical model was established, from which the complexity of its structure was explained. The model and simulation was achieved by using the Solidworks software and Ansys software.The results indicated that: under the conditions of the designed parameters, the metal rubber damper meets the yield strength condition, which can meet the vibration isolation needs for the ZW-3/7-type reciprocating compressor working normally.Through this research, it is expectated that the technolgy of vibration isolation can contribute to the issue of vibration in the reciprocating compressor systems, and it is hoped that there is a new understanding on the system isolation from the computer simulation methods for the application and theory of metal rubber isolator technology.
