Metal-net rubber damper,the main raw material of it is metal,the wire is made a spiral by certain process to produce metal-net rubber component,then combine the metal-net rubber components with spring or other dampers,to make metal-net rubber damper.The metal-net rubber damper has many advantages over the rubber damper: metal-net rubber damper can work stably in environment of high or low temperature,is not easy to aging,and is more corrosion resistant.Metal-net rubber materials can make up for many deficiencies of rubber materials and have broad application prospects in aviation,aerospace,weapons,ships and other fields.However,there is little research on fatigue life of metal-net rubber damper.Therefore,the following work is carried out in this paper for fatigue performance of metal-net rubber damper:(1)Design the metal-net rubber damper,design the equipment used in the fatigue life test of the damper,then test the dynamic performance of the metal-net rubber damper,then obtain the hysteresis curve of the metal-net rubber damper;vibration test is carried out to analysis the vibration dynamics of metal-net rubber damper.(2)The fatigue life test of the metal-net rubber damper is designed with relative pretightening and constant frequency as variables.The test mainly includes three parts: the determination of the dynamic hysteresis curve,the sine sweep frequency test and the sine fixed frequency test.The law of change of hysteresis curve,natural frequency and resonance transfer rate of metal-net rubber under the influence of time are carried out,and the vibration absorption mechanism is analyzed.Before and after the fatigue life test,the height and quality of the metal-net rubber components are recorded,and the experimental phenomena are observed.(3)Analysis the cause of failure of the metal-net rubber damper,when the natural frequency of the metal-net damper change 10 %,the metal-net rubber damper fails,then process the test data.The influence of relative pretightening and constant frequency on the fatigue life of the metal-net rubber damper is got,and the curves of the stiffness,damping ratio,and loss factor of the metal wire mesh rubber with time are obtained.The fatigue life empirical formula of metal-net rubber damper is obtained,then the fatigue life of metal-net rubber damper can be predicted reasonably by using the empirical formula.
