With the progress of society and the improvement of standard of living, Chinese citizen have more and more air conditioners. The popularity of air conditioners increased the comfort of life, but the usage of air conditioners also triggered the energy crisis. According to statistics, the electricity consumption used by the air conditioner is up to one third of the entire electrical power in the summer peak in many regions. So they have to cut the power supply. It is necessary and meaningful to research the energy consumption of the air conditioners, but the researchers focused more on the independent equipment of air conditioners. Though the independent equipment is very effective in energy conservation, as a whole, the energy conservation of the system is not so obvious. To solve the problem, the energy control system of the air conditioners based on the Internet of Things was developed.The thesis designed the energy control system of the air conditioners based on the Internet of Things, which was applied as a method and control target is to improve the system efficiency. The feasibility of the Internet of Things used in intelligent buildings was experiment. The system energy efficiency theory and Area Control was completed. The designed system was used in a project, which tested the effectiveness of system.First, the thesis researched the Internet of Things, the concept, the background, the system architecture and the critical Technology. The application domains and the illustrative cases of the Internet of Things were summarized. Researching the features of the Internet of Things, this laid foundation for introducing the Internet of Things into intelligent building.Second, the system energy efficiency theory was completed. The thesis introduced the theory into terminal equipment, came up with the concept of equipment energy efficiency, and simplified the formula. The raised concept was introduced into control tactics and gave the refrigerating phantom control references. Third, the entire energy control system of the air conditioners based on the Internet of Things was constructed. The architecture and operating principle of the system was introduced. The four layers of the Internet of Things were designed, application layer, network layer, control layer, sensor layer. Application layer is an air conditioner energy conservation control center, to store the data and remote control the equipment. Network layer converge the multiple communication networks and transmits data. Control layer Control the air conditioner equipment. Sensor layer collect the environment parameters.Finally, put the designed system into real project. The energy control system of the air conditioners based on the Internet of Things was constructed and debugged in a company. The system controlled the air conditioners in the company in the summer, and recorded the energy conservation data. The system is effective through analyzing the data.
