With the sustained and rapid development of economy,many challenges have been brought to the warehouse managements of enterprises.The traditional manual warehouse managements are costly and inefficient for requiring a lot of workloads,and the confidentiality is difficult to guarantee.With the rapid development of information technology,the internet of things(IOT)which connects “things” with“things” has gradually penetrated into various application areas,and greatly promotes the intelligent production management.In this paper,combining the IOT and the traditional warehouse management,an intelligent storage system based on IOT is designed using embedded technology to improve the efficiency of warehouse management.The intelligent storage system consists of three modules: the information collection module,the information processing module and the display module.In the information collection module,temperature/humidity sensors and photosensitive sensors are used to collect the information of warehouse environment(such as temperature,humidity,collection plate position and status),and RFID(Radio Frequency Identification,RFID)is employed to collect the information of items(such as types,warehouse NO.and ID).All the collected information are transmitted to the information processing module through Zigbee wireless communication.The information processing module is constructed by the ARM9 processor and the LINUX operating system.The information from the information collection module is processed through the synchronous mode between the database and the threads.Then,the shared memory is updated by the processed information for the display module to access.In the display module,the HTML language is used to build Web interface,and all information is displayed in the form of Web page.In addition,the display module provides the manager with an operation platform to control the information collection module.The operation commands can be sent to BOA Web server of information processing module,and the server informs the CGI process of communicating with information processing module by sharing memory and message queue.The designed storage system in this paper organically integrates the IOT and storage management,and realizes the intelligent management of storage.The testresults show that the system runs normally,and it has practical significance for the modern management of warehouse systems.
