Yantai Urban Water Resources Optimization

Water resource is a kind of fundamental natural resource and strategic economic resource. It is the controlling factor of the ecological environment, and plays important strategic position in national economy and social security. With the development of urban economy, demand for water supply is getting higher and higher, especially the urban water supply, the status of which has already become an important sign of urban development level and potential. So the investigation on optimistic scheduling of urban water resource is essential for the urban economic and social development.This thesis, taking Yantai city as an example, analyzed the current situation and existing problems of Yantai water supply, predicted mid-and-long-term water demand and water deficit, fully considered the natural attribute, life material property, commodity attribute and environmental factor function, through the decision variable settings, on the premise of ensuring urban water demand, water balance and the biggest water supply ability of various water supply sources, based on "first earth surface, then underground", regional economic equilibrium for the nearest principle, established urban water resource optimization scheduling model, by using linear programming method for urban mid-and-long term water resource optimization scheduling operation scheme.
