Because of the rapid development of economy, the amount of urban residents increased.Urban traffic problems keeps serious, so develop public transit become a important measure to solve the urban transportation problem. City public traffic system consists of various public transportation forms, different forms of transportation have diffrerent applicable ranges and constraint conditions.the correct public transportation development strategy is to establish a kind of balance in the system, the balance system that under all kinds of public transportation to play the advantage, can be connected matching among them, complement each other.This article first analyzes the concept of bus rapid transit and the major components. Then combining domestic and foreign research results and relevant experience, analyzes the basic connotation and coordinated cohesion characteristic of BRT and conventional public traffic, mainly divides into two aspects:line network planning and site planning, distance. For line network, First on the regular bus rapid transit and functional position to determine the establishment of bus rapid transit modes of transportation as the backbone of public transit network. On this basis, make adjustments to the existing transportation networkIn order to achieve the harmonization between them, Focus on a new method of conventional transportation network, Established the pick up bus lines maximum efficiency of the unit cost of coverage as a function of the target line optimization model.For sites, In the analysis of the conventional bus rapid transit sites and sites coordination principles, basis of factors, respectively, adjusting regular bus rapid transit and the coordination of macro-and micro-siteFinally, based on the point, line, face three levels, coordination and convergence index system of Rapid Transit Public and Regular Transit Public has been build in this thesis. Using the Analytial Hierarchy Process to coordinate with conventional public traffic BRT cohesive degree is evaluated.
