According to the recent developments of the wind power both domestic and abroad and descriptions about the wind power equipments maintaining, combined with the failure characteristics of the units and the advanced maintenance theory nowadays, this paper employ the opportunity maintenance theory to optimize the repair of the multiple components of the units. There are two kinds of models built .one is called preventive opportunity model aiming at the maximization of repair cost saving. With the consideration of how the maintenance result affect the failure rate of the components of the units, enumeration method is used to list all the possible combinations, then, the best one will be selected. In the other model, the state variables are introduced in. Regarding the maintenance measures as decisive variables and investment return as the objective functions, the theory is built on the base of equipment state. The two models combine the repair of multiple components together considering the economist relations. An example is given to explain that ensuring higher reliability of the units, the fixed maintenance cost can be parted in order to save the repair costs.
