With the rapid development of highway construction, cement concrete pavement is widely used in highway and urban roads. But the disadvantages of its poor skid-resistance durability and higher noise always puzzle road engineers and researchers in many countries. The expose-aggregate cement concrete pavement has very optimistic application as it has the advantages of high skid-resistance durability and reducing the noise signally and so on.In view of raw materials situation of cement concrete and construction technology in Chongqing, through laboratory tests, theoretical analysis and road tests , the project comprehensively studied the materials composition, construction technology and road performance of exposed-aggregate cement concrete pavement. Proposed the specific requirements of the reasonable mixture ratio of exposed-aggregate cement concrete and the material selection. Provided the additives'appropriate amount, reasonable spraying time and appropriate time of exposed aggregate disposal at different temperature . Analyzed the anti-slide performance and revealed the high anti-slide mechanism of exposed-aggregate cement concrete. Obtained the anti-slide performance of exposed-aggregate cement concrete pavement have parabola (open down) the relationship with road surface construction depth and coarse aggregate exposed-points of unit area. For the road against sliding performance, it existence a the best depth scope of surface structure and of the best open-range, and identified the reasonable surface structural depth should be in the range of 0.8mm ~ 1.0mm. This project analyzed the surface structural depth of exposed-aggregate cement concrete with digital image technology and compiled a program to calculate exposed aggregate cement concrete pavement texture depth, and verified by experimental results. It improved the exposed aggregate cement concrete pavement construction technology by paving the entity test road project.The research results have important theoretical and practical value and can promote the application and technological development of exposed-aggregate cement concrete.
