Tailings dam (pond) is the concentrator important part of the dressing plant, the security and stability of tailing dam plays a vital role for the dressing plant.The dam is full of tailings and water, forming an artificial "tailings lake".It is always at risk in a certain state,and the capacity of the tailing dam increases with the dam gets higher,once the dam break,the tailings, mud and water will flow in the style of debris flow.It will threaten the property and lives of downstream residents, and also will bring about immeasurable loss to enterprise.So the monitoring to the dam is essential.The implementation of safety monitoring system is conducive to grasp the operational status of tailings and security situation can improve the safety of tailings to protect the normal operation of the reservoir area and downstream reservoir of people's lives and property, to avoid an accident caused by tailings environmental pollution, protect the environment.Based on Xiadian gold mine tailings dam safety monitoring and implementation of early warning system,this thesis conducted further research the following aspects:(1)Describes the design basis and program of the monitoring and early warning systems,design and implement the program based on the relevant norms and theories.Including the layout of the monitoring points,the phreatic line monitoring,the dam deformation,the protection of lightning and so on.(2)In considering the composition of the dam body and the non-uniformity strength,research the deformation,the preparation process of the damage,and dyamical destabilizaition process.Utilize the nonlinear theory such as RFPA to reveal the dynamic disaster mechanism of tailings dam.(3)Apply fractal geometry to assure the structure style of the tailings dam,research the relationship of stability and fractalstructure,calculate the fractal dimension of tailings in various gradation, research the nonlinear relationship of the fractal dimension the intensity and seepage flow process.(4)Apply limit equilibrium method analyze the slope stability,and use harmony search algorithm to optimizate,search the sliding surface,and assure the instability criterion.
