In recent years, more and more urban managers aware of the close relationship between residents and rivers, river regulation has attracted people's attention and related engineering has been carried out. However, due to the limit of traditional concept, in previous river training engineering, it pays more attention to landscape construction, but the nature of river is neglected. This can not relieve pollution problems, but cause more serious damage to river natural ecosystem. River pollution has become a serious threat to people's physical health and the sustainable development of our country. As an important element of urban ecological environment, how to improve the urban landscape environment, the quality of life and promote urban development with river ecological restoration has become the focus point for urban planning and construction.Supported by the subject of"Research and Application of Ecological Restoration Technology for River around Jiao Zhou Bay", this paper based on related data research and successively investigations of many rivers in and out of our country, the shortcomings of river regulation at present are identified. Combined with successful experience, the conception of river ecological restoration is carried out. In order to improve the maneuverability, this paper chose the typical river——Licun River in Qingdao as an example, according to water shortage and pollution problems, the ecological restoration countermeasures are put forward. Research results show that, ecological restoration countermeasures and applicable technologies put forward in this paper can guarantee the quality of river water meet related standards.Nowadays, many river basins face the double issues of water shortage and water pollution, especially in the north of China. This research results can instruct river training from the angle of technical,provide effective reference for the popularization and application of this research, and provide scientific basis for formulating technical guidelines and specifications for river ecological regulation. This research has been identified by Qingdao Science & Technology Bureau, and it has been adopted in many plannings in Qingdao.There are 5 chapters in this paper: In chapter 1, the current situations of river training are introduced, the main problems existing at present are expounded, and the chief contents of this research are also put forward.In chapter 2, the background of river ecological restoration is analyzed, the basic conceptions are introduced, and the principles and specific methods are put forward.In chapter 3, according to the problems of water shortage and pollution, it take the typical river——Licun River for example. Through investigation and sampling analysis, the ecological restoration is analyzed:Improving the sewage pipe network to control water pollution, using reclaimed water to supplement river water and through the ecological measures to guarantee the quality of river water. Finally, water quality model and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are applied to evaluate the quantity and quality of river water to verify the feasibility of this research.In chapter 4, the implementation of river ecological regulation theory is analyzed, and the Licun River upstream comprehensive control project is introduced, especially for the application of this theory. Finally, the achievements of this project are briefly analyzed.In chapter 5, the results of this research are analyzed, and then the developing direction and focal points in this field are pointed out.
