This paper comes from Nan Chang County Integrated Transport System Development Planning.As Jiangxi province economic develops sustain and rapidly, the passenger transport needs grows strongly. Though massive road infrastructure construction improves road networks, this facilitates the provision of passenger transportation. As the acceleration of urbanization, areas around big cities have changed significantly at scales, form and function. One of the important features is that crowds and traffic flow concentrate to big cities, thus the scale and layout of passenger transport station directly affect the cost of dweller and passenger service efficiency. The urban and rural areas are also faced with this enormous challenge. Urban and Rural Transport, related hub station, the line, and inadequate infrastructure, these push the urgent need for planning, construction and management.This thesis states the county economy and social development in the first place, according to the transportation network of the town, then analysis passenger transport station scale and layout. Based on economic social and demographic factors County, we forecast traffic demand and distribution of traffic.According to the principle of accordance with the county's economy, systemic, local conditions, ecological conditions, the principle of protection, it then applies the model of selection and optimizes to determine the layout. Based on these theories, the author uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for the quantitative research of the overall passenger transport stations. Among them, the first layer evaluation indexes including station layout of adaptability, coordination, the economic, social and sustainability that references to main traffic evaluation quantified results. At the end of this essay comes theoretical analysis of Nanchang County, and then conducts feasibility studies. The analysis of the Nanchang county level in the passenger stations meets the passenger transportation market. The Nanchang County is taken as an example for empirical analysis to determine the Nanchang County transportation scale and layout, and the passenger transportation scale and layout are also be evaluated at the end of this paper.
