With the rapid development of railway transport in China,there are some problems about rail traffic noise. And these problems seem more serious in high-speed railway passenger station. Its waiting space and station space are in the same hall, so the indoor sound environment is even more prominent. Therefore, how to control the sound environment of the waiting halls of high-speed railway passenger stations has become an important research topic which is worthy of exploration.Large-scale issues on sound environment of indoors space of railway station have published in foreign country,but very little in our country. Wuhan railway station is a station of viaduct-style,and trains may enter the indoor space usually. Noise generated by the train waiting room is bound to affect the environment. So we set an example of Wuhan railway station in our study of sound environment of the waiting halls of high-speed railway passenger stations.In this study, many-round and many-sided building materials are chose to analyze the impact of the sound and control of the waiting halls of Wuhan railway station. Important are: 1 For other Station - research on Wuchang Railway Station.2 evaluation on the topic of architectural acoustics and acoustic materials; 3 design of the waiting hall for acoustic and calculate the reverberation time; 4 Comparative analysis using Ecotect software simulation to verify the acoustic design of the rationality of building materials; 5 Subjective and objective evaluation of the environment on completion of the waiting halls of Wuhan railway station. This study through the analysis of the sound source of the waiting halls of Wuhan railway station,Determine the mechanism of noise and sound transmission, using different noise reduction methods are targeted for noise control, and through the rational selection and arrangement of the building materials to control that.Then base on the calculation of reverberation time of the sound environment in the waiting hall and computer simulation,reverberation time would be control within reasonable limits on theory. Further evaluation of subjective and objective investigation is done to determine the actual acoustic design reasonable. This behavior is to ensure the freedom to communication,quiet comfortable waiting environment and clear radio hearing in waiting in the waiting halls of Wuhan railway station,and creates a good acoustic environment in Wuhan railway station.After the completion of Wuhan railway station,actual researching and subjective evaluation and objective evaluation of the station was made by us. The acoustic design example of the waiting halls of Wuhan railway station shows a reasonable noise control programs. Acoustical evaluation of the building materials and application of the reasonableness in these programs may become reference in the design of large space building in the future.
