In recent years, with the continuous improvement of China's economic and construction science and technology level,high-speed railway construction has entered the era of fast lanes, the rapid expansion of large cities and the coordinated development between neighboring cities is the trend of the future, and regional economic cooperation is bound to be closer. In this context, many new high-speed railway passenger stations have been put into use in various cities.Compared with the traditional railway passenger stations, the new large-scale railway passenger stations in recent years have greatly simplified and changed their spatial functions and passenger flow planning.First of all, serving passengers, providing passengers with a comfortable and convenient waiting environment and rapid and accurate transfer conditions should be the humanized function of a modern high-speed railway passenger station.Secondly, the internal passenger flow line design in the passenger station should strive to be simple and clear, unobstructed and fast,to avoid the circuitous flow.As a key link related to passenger comfort in large railway stations, the waiting hall not only provides passengers with a comfortable and convenient waiting environment, but also adds more public commercial service elements such as catering and entertainment, becoming a new type of public open space. In this paper, the comfort of the light-thermal environment of the large high-speed railway passenger station in cold areas is taken as the research object.Through the analysis of the case status of the large high-speed railway station that has been put into use,the architectural design elements related to the light-thermal environment of the high-speed railway station waiting room are studied.A field survey was conducted in the waiting hall of two typical high-speed railway stations in cold regions. Objective tests were conducted on the indicators of the light-thermal environment of the waiting hall.At the same time, questionnaires related to the comfort of the subjective light-thermal environment were issued to the on-site passengers.Through comparative analysis, the existing problems in the comfort of the light-thermal environment in the waiting hall of the high-speed railway station are found. With the aid of computer software simulation, the optimal design of architectural design elements under the light-thermal environment is discussed, and the balance between the indoor light-thermal environment comfort and the reduction of building energy consumption of large-space buildings such as high-speed railway stations in cold areas is explored. The optimization design strategy of the light-thermal environment of the large high-speed railway station waiting hall and the feasible method of reducing energy consumption are put forward, which provide the theoretical basis for the future high-speed railway station design and the transformation of the light-thermal environment comfort.
