This paper relies on the offshore oil platform power system, combined with the relay protection principle, designs the electrical system protection schemes in this article, at the same time tuning and sensitivity calibration, and calculates relay protection data.This paper mainly divided into five sections, including fault description, relay protection principle the basics of the relay protection, the configuration of the general requirements and the selected project setting scheme design, etc. This paper puts forward the design thinking is the purpose of the research, this paper expounds the research problem which is the basis of the principle, design to solve problems, finally obtained the conclusion, through the actual project application good verified. This paper the selected projects setting have the equipment: the main generator, transformer, electric motors, such as asias slow, and the content includes protection principle analysis, protection setting calculation calibration and sensitivity.Based on the power system failure, is described in the marine electrical system equipment failure causes the fault type, fault hazards, and failure is calculated, in the relay reliability, selectivity, sensitivity and speed and mobility under the guidance of the four basic requirements, refer to a variety of devices in the standard literature of the technical requirements of different protection, protection of power system equipment.
